Il Villaggio

Located right on the sand in the heart of South Beach, at the end of the famed Ocean Drive, Il Villaggio is a luxury building that takes full advantage of its unique and spectacular location. Designed by Revuelta Vega Leon Architects, now Revuelta Architecture International, in 1998, Ill Villaggio’s contemporary architecture suggests the old-world European sense of an urban village, while still being a sleek and modern building.

At Il Villaggio, most units have private elevator foyers, as well as flow-through views from the Atlantic Ocean to the skyline of Miami Beach. The 12 story building has 127 residences to offer. These range from one-to-three bedroom apartments, from 1200 to a spacious 5000 square feet.

Residents have the convenience of covered and secured parking, a grand, four-story lobby with a direct view of the ocean, oversized balconies, an oceanfront pool, towel service on the beach, a sauna, a community room, and a fitness center. Il Villaggio is uniquely situated to have particularly stunning panoramic views to the east and south, down Miami Beach’s storied Ocean Drive.

Il Villaggio sits directly above the Shoppes of Ill Villaggio, where you’ll find an oceanfront Starbucks and other amenities. Due to its ideal location, you can practically walk anywhere from Il Villaggio, particularly on the spectacular beach walk that borders the east side of the building. Recently completed, the beach walk continues uninterrupted from South Pointe to the northern end of Bal Harbour. Just steps from Il Villaggio is the Front Porch Cafe, nestled in a shady breezeway of a neighboring hotel. Of course, there’s also the sublime Betsy Hotel and its restaurant LT Steak & Seafood, both of which frequently play host to a wide variety of art world happenings and events. Further south is the recently opened Gabriel Hotel, where you’ll find Dalia, a chic restaurant specializing in Mediterranean delicacies in a space that reflects Floridian art deco and Cuban modernist architecture
